1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg white
1/2 c. boiling water

Put into small mixing bowl and beat at medium speed for 10 minutes. Water should be boiling furiously, poured in rapidly and mixer started immediately.
