1/4 c. butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 egg yolk
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. yellow or chocolate cake mix

Cream butter and cheese. Add egg yolk and vanilla. Add cake mix 1/3 at a time. Mix well. If mixer is used, add last part of mix by hand. Chill 1/2 hour. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Drop by scant teaspoon on ungreased baking sheet. Cool on baking sheet before removing.
