TEXAS HASH 
1 lb. ground beef
4 sm. onions, thin sliced (2 1/2 c.)
1 lg. clove garlic, crushed
2 tsp. chili powder
Pepper to taste
1 lg. green pepper, chopped
2 tbsp. oil
3/4 c. uncooked rice
1 3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. catsup

In large skillet, saute' beef, onions, green pepper and garlic in hot oil, over medium heat until beef is browned and onions are tender. Stir in remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer over low heat until rice is tender, about 25 minutes. Stirring occasionally, prevent sticking.
