TEXAS HASH IN THE MICROWAVE 
1 lb. ground beef
1-2 tbsp. dry minced onions
1 med. green pepper, chopped
1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
1/2 c. uncooked regular rice
1-2 tsp. chili powder
1-2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

In a large skillet, cook and stir meat until browned. Drain off the fat. Add onions and green pepper and cook until onion is tender. Stir in tomatoes, rice, chili powder, salt, and pepper and heat through.

Pour into ungreased 2 quart ring mold, microwave safe pan. Cover with waxed paper and microwave on high power for 15-18 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
