To prepare homemade dough that will keep for several weeks, mix 1 cup flour, 1/2 cup salt and 2 teaspoons cream of tartar in saucepan. (Do not omit cream of tartar.) Add 1 cup water, tablespoon cooking oil, several drops of oil of wintergreen and food coloring. Cook, stirring, for 3 minutes or until mixture pulls away from pan. Knead immediately. Store in an airtight container. |
