ANGEL BISCUITS 
5 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
1 pkg. dry yeast
2 tbsp. warm water
2 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. butter

Sift dry ingredients, mix with shortening. Dissolve yeast in water, let stand 5 minutes. Add to buttermilk. Mix and add to flour mixture. Turn on floured board. Pat to 1 inch or less thickness. Cut with knife into squares. Place in greased pan and brush with melted butter. Bake at 450 degrees for 12 minutes.
