1 large box of twinkie cakes
1 large box instant vanilla pudding
2 bananas, sliced
1 pint strawberries, sliced and patted dry
1 large container cool whip
Crushed nuts (optional)

Cut twinkies lengthwise and layer, icing side up, in a 9 by 13 inch pan. Mix vanilla pudding according to the box directions and spread over twinkies. Add bananas and strawberries, spread cool whip over fruit. Sprinkle with nuts if desired. Refrigerate overnight.
