CARAMEL PUDDING 
1 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. raisins (or nuts)
1/2 c. milk

TOPPING:

3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. butter
2 c. boiling water

Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together and stir in raisins (or nuts) and milk. Pour this batter into well greased casserole. Mix brown sugar, butter and water together. Pour over batter and bake 45 minutes in 375 degree oven. Be sure to use a deep casserole to keep sugar from boiling over. Serve warm or cold. Serves eight.
