CARAMEL APPLE PUDDING CAKE | |
1 c. flour 2/3 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. milk 1/2 c. chopped pecans 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 3/4 c. packed brown sugar 1/4 c. butter 3/4 c. boiling water 4 med. apples, peeled & cut to 1/2 inch OR 1 (16 oz.) can apples, chopped Ice cream or whipped cream In a large bowl, blend flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Add milk; beat until smooth. Stir in fruit and nuts. Turn into an ungreased 2 quart casserole. In a separate bowl, combine brown sugar, butter and boiling water. Pour evenly over batter. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve immediately with ice cream or whipped cream. |
