CARAMEL PUDDING 
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 stick butter
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. raisins
1 c. flour

SAUCE:

1 c. brown sugar
2 c. water (or use some coffee)
4 tbsp. butter (1/2 stick)

Boil sauce several minutes. Pour batter in large cake pan while sauce is boiling. Pour sauce over batter. Bake as cake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Cake will come to the top and can be served with the sauce dipped over. Also whipped cream can be added to servings. Nuts can be added to batter if desired. Note: This is an excellent fast dessert to make when company comes.
