APRICOT STICKS 
3/4 c. sugar
1 stick butter, softened
2 egg yolks
1 tbsp. vanilla
Flour
Soda
Apricot preserves
Pecans
Powdered sugar

) Spread over this 1 1/2 cups apricot preserves. Beat the two egg whites stiff, add 1/4 cup sugar and one heaping cup chopped pecans. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cool about 30 minutes and cut in strips and roll in powdered sugar. This makes about 50 or 60.
