LASAGNA 
1 lb. ground beef
4 links Italian sausage (mild)
1 onion, chopped
6-8 fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 lb. box lasagna noodles (I use extra wide)
1 lb. carton ricotta cheese
16 oz. Mozzarella cheese, sliced
1 lb. 13 oz. can tomato sauce
12 oz. can tomato paste
10 oz. pkg. frozen spinach, thawed & drained
1 egg
Italian herb seasoning, salt, pepper, garlic salt & parsley to taste

Brown ground beef, sausage, onion and mushrooms. Drain. Add tomato sauce, paste and seasonings. Let simmer for 1 hour.

Meanwhile, combine drained spinach, ricotta and egg. Set aside.

Cook noodles and rinse in cold water. Begin building ingredients in 9"x13" pan. Start with a layer of noodles, then meat sauce, spinach mixture and 1/3 of Mozzarella cheese slices. Now another layer of noodles, etc. until you have three layers. Finish top with a sprinkling of fresh Parmesan cheese. Bake 30 to 40 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
