5 tbsp. butter, softened
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Blend together first 3 ingredients with fork until mix resembles coarse crumbs. Put 1 cup aside for top. Press remaining mix into 8 x 8 x 2 dish. Bake 15 minutes.

In another bowl combine sugar and cheese; mix until smooth. Beat egg, milk, lemon juice and vanilla. Spread over baked crust. Sprinkle remaining mix. Bake for 25 minutes. Let cool, then chill for 1 hour. Cut into squares. Enjoy.
