LEMON POUND CAKE 
1 c. butter
1/3 c. crisco
3 c. flour
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. lemon flavoring
1 c. milk

In a mixing bowl combine sugar, crisco, butter and one egg at a time until blended well. Add salt, flour mixture alternated with milk. Add flavoring. Pour in tube pan, bake at 325°F for one hour and ten minutes.
