BAKED SQUASH 
3 lbs. squash
1/2 c. cracker meal or bread crumbs
2 eggs
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 stick butter
1 tsp. salt

Wash and cut up squash. Boil until tender, drain thoroughly and mash. Add all ingredients except 1/2 of butter to squash. Melt remaining butter. Pour mixture into baking dish, then spread melted butter over top and sprinkle with cracker meal or bread crumbs. Bake in 375 degree oven for approximately 1 hour or until brown.
