GERMAN STRAWBERRY CAKE 
3/4 stick butter
2 c. flour
1 c. milk
1 pkg. German baking powder
4 eggs, separated
1/2 c. sugar
1 pkg. German vanilla sugar

Soften butter, add sugar, vanilla sugar, egg yolks and heat. Add milk, flour, baking powder and mix. Beat egg whites until stiff and add to mixture. (This makes 2 cakes, 1 large and 1 small.) Thoroughly butter and flour 2 German inverted cake pans (one 11 inch, one 10 1/2 inch). Bake at 375 degrees until coming loose.

FILLING:

1 pkg. German vanilla pudding
Strawberries
2 jars strawberry glaze

Mix pudding according to package. Spread over middle of cake. Fill in with strawberries. Spread strawberry glaze over top. Refrigerate. Let set before serving.
