MOM'S RIBS 
Beef short ribs
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 can water
Onion to taste, chopped
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. chili sauce
2 tbsp. brown sugar
Garlic salt to taste

Cook ribs in covered pot at 400 degrees for at least 1 hour. Pour off fat. Mix all remaining ingredients and pour on ribs. Cook uncovered 1 hour more at 350 degrees or until ribs are tender and sauce has cooked down.
