BEEF BURGERS 
1 lb. ground beef
1 sm. diced onion
1/4 green pepper, diced
1/4 c. celery, diced
Pinch of garlic powder
1/4 c. chili sauce
1/4 c. catsup
1 c. water
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. vinegar
2 tsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
1/2 tsp. chili powder

Cook onions, celery and green pepper in fat until tender (not brown). Add meat, salt and pepper. Make sauce with remaining ingredients and when meat has lost redness, add sauce and simmer for about 30 minutes or until excess liquid is cooked out.
