POTATO DUMPLINGS 
2 slices diced bacon
3-4 med. potatoes
1 egg
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 slices diced, toasted bread
1 c. flour (or more)

Fry bacon crisp. Grate potatoes and blend in egg. Add bacon and drippings, bread cubes, and dry ingredients to make a stiff dough. Drop by spoonfuls and steam 12 to 15 minutes.
