DUMPLINGS (POTATO) 
6 potatoes
1/2 c. flour
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. onion powder
butter

Grate potatoes, drain off liquid by putting in a cheese cloth and squeezing. Mix together potatoes, flour, egg and salt and pepper. Drop by spoonfuls into boiling water. (Make sure the water is boiling at all times.) Boil 15 to 20 minutes until done. Drain well. Fry in butter with sliced onions, wonderful with game and beef. Yield: 1 dozen.
