CONNIE'S CAKE 
1 c. plain flour
1 stick butter
1 c. nuts, chopped
8 oz. cream cheese
1 c. white sugar
12 oz. Cool Whip
2 boxes butter pecan instant pudding
3 c. milk

For crust, mix flour, butter and nuts together and spread on bottom of 9 x 13 x 2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. For bottom layer, mix cream cheese, sugar and 6 ounces of Cool Whip. Spread over crust. For middle layer, mix butter pecan instant pudding and milk; spread over bottom layer. For top layer, add the rest of the 12 ounce carton of Cool Whip over the middle layer. Garnish with nuts or cherries.
