POP'S CRUMB CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 c. sugar (white)
1 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. milk
1/8 tsp. salt

Cream together butter, sugar and eggs until light and fluffy. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add vanilla to milk. Add flour mixture and milk alternately to egg mixture ending with flour.

Pour into greased and floured cake pan. Sprinkle with crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.

CRUMB TOPPING:

Mix together 3 tablespoons sugar and 3 tablespoons flour. Cut in enough butter to form crumbs.
