SPICY CRANBERRY-GINGER RELISH 
4 c. fresh cranberries
2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1 c. golden raisins
1 c. water
1/4 c. finely chopped candied ginger
1/3 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. grated onion
1/4 tsp. ground cloves

In a good-sized saucepan, combine all ingredients in order; place over moderate heat and bring to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes, stirring constantly. Seal in hot sterilized jars. Makes about 2 1/2 pints.
