4 LAYER CHOCOLATE DESSERT 
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter, melted
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup pecans, chopped fine

Mix these ingredients and press into a greased 9x13-inch pan and bake at 350°F until lightly browned. Cool completely.

2ND LAYER:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
1 cup Cool Whip

Mix these ingredients and spread on top of the cooled baked layer.

3RD LAYER:

1 (3 oz.) box instant vanilla pudding
1 (3 oz.). box instant chocolate pudding
3 cups cold milk

Mix until thick and spread over the 2nd layer.

4TH LAYER:

Cool Whip
chopped pecans or chocolate shavings, for garnish

Spread a thin layer of Cool Whip and sprinkle with chopped pecans and/or chocolate shavings. Refrigerate before serving.
