1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. water
2 c. flour
M & M's

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix first 5 ingredients. Mix in water. Gradually add flour. Chill 2 hours. Divide dough into 12 parts. On lightly floured surface, roll into 12 inch ropes. Cut into 3 inch logs. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Press candies on top. Bake 12 to 15 minutes. Yields 48 logs.
