FRUIT COCKTAIL COOKIES 
3 to 4 c. flour
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda moistened in a few drops of water
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. Log Cabin syrup
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. Crisco
1 can fruit cocktail, drained
1 tsp. salt
1 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. nuts

Mix together and bake at 375 degrees on ungreased cookie sheets for 15 to 20 minutes.
