MRS. K.'S SPRING GARDEN SPECIAL 
1/4 c. olive oil
1/4 lb. chopped onions
2 lbs. ground beef
2 qts. stewed tomatoes
2 qts. cooked green beans
12 c. julienned carrots
1 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. black pepper

Saute onions and ground beef until thoroughly cooked. Add tomatoes and cook 30 minutes. Add seasonings. Cook carrots in separate pot until tender but not "squishy". Add carrots and green beans to ground beef-tomato and cook just long enough to thoroughly heat through. Yields 32 servings, 3/4 cup each. A great camp meal!
