1/2 c. soft butter
6 tbsp. white sugar
6 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 c. plus 2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Beat together. Put 1 rounded tablespoon of batter into cupcake tins. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

TOPPING:

1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/8 tsp. salt

Beat until very thick. 1/2 c. nuts 1/2 tsp. vanilla
