SPAGHETTI SAUCE OR MEAT BALLS 
3 lbs. ground meat (two lbs. beef and 1 lb. pork)
1 to 2 lg. onions, chopped
1 lg. bell pepper, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped

Brown all together slowly. If making sauce, just brown in ungreased pot; if meat balls, brown in a little fat. If sauce, go ahead and add following ingredients. If meatballs, remove pour off fat, return to pot, then add salt, pepper, garlic salt, and oregano. Then add 2 cans stewed tomatoes, 2 large cans tomato sauce, 1 package Italian sauce mix, and 2 cans whole mushrooms with juice. Cook slowly an hour or more.
