1/2 c. oatmeal
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. boiling water
2 eggs
1/2 c. Crisco oil
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
Pinch of salt

Put oatmeal and cocoa in boiling water, and let stand.

Meanwhile combine eggs, oil and brown sugar. Beat, then add flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt.

Pour into greased 8 by 8 pan. Bake 350 degrees for 1/2 hour or so. Recipe can be doubled for 9 by 13 inch pan. Frost with chocolate icing.
