AUNT SALLY COOKIES 
1 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1/2 c. molasses
1 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. cream of tartar
4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. salt
5 c. flour

Roll out and cut in shapes. Bake at 350 degrees. I use a Spam can.

FROSTING:

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. vinegar
2 egg whites
12 marshmallows, cut up

Boil sugar, water and vinegar to medium ball stage. Pour over beaten egg whites, add marshmallows, beat with egg beater until smooth.
