ROLL OAT GINGER COOKIES 
1 c. molasses
1 c. white sugar
1 c. white syrup
1 c. shortening
1 c. hot water
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. pepper
Salt

Add about 9 cups flour; chill and roll out to cut. Bake at 350. Take out of oven while still puffed up. Frost while hot.

FROSTING:

2 c. powdered sugar
Lump butter
1 egg
Vanilla
