CHICKEN SUPREME
Chicken, cut up & fried
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 cans hot water
1/2 sm. onion, sliced & separated into rings
1/4 c. chopped bell pepper
1 lg. casserole dish with lid
Dash of poultry season

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Fry chicken as usual. Drain off oil, leaving settling in frying pan. Pour in 1 can cream of chicken soup in pan. Add 2 cans hot water. Stir with fork to break up lumps. Bring to boil over medium heat. Arrange fried chicken in casserole dish. Sprinkle onion rings and bell pepper over chicken. Sprinkle with poultry season. Pour soup mixture over chicken. Cover with lid. Place in oven and bake for 30 to 40 minutes. Serve with mashed potatoes. Soup makes golden, smooth gravy.

This recipe can also be done with pork chops, but use cream of mushroom instead of cream of chicken.
