PUMPKIN BREAD | |
2/3 c. oil 2 2/3 c. sugar 4 eggs 1 lg. can pumpkin 2/3 c. water 3 1/3 c. flour 2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. powdered cloves 2/3 c. chopped nuts 2/3 c. raisins 2/3 c. dates Mix oil, sugar, eggs, pumpkin and water. Sift and add the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and powdered cloves. Add remaining ingredients. Grease and flour 2 bread tins. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. FROSTING: 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese 1 stick butter 1 lb. box confectionery sugar 1 tsp. vanilla Soften butter and cream cheese; add sugar and vanilla. Spread over bread. |
