BRAN PAN ROLLS 
1 tbsp. yeast
1 c. warm water
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg
3 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. oatmeal
2 c. white flour
1 c. whole wheat flour

Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Add remaining ingredients, saving white flour for last. Add flour gradually until dough comes away from the sides of the bowl. Cover and let rise in warm place until double. Punch down and form into 2 inch diameter balls.

Place side by side with edges touching, on a greased cookie sheet or cake pan. Let rise until almost double. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until bottoms are slightly brown.
