MEXICAN MESS 
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. taco seasoning
1 (15 oz.) can refried beans
1 lb. grated cheddar cheese, divided
1 pt. sour cream
Chives, chopped
1 sm. can sliced black olives
Taco sauce, divided

Fry ground beef until brown. Add taco seasoning and water, following directions on package. Mix with refried beans. Dump into 10" pie plate. Top with taco sauce, then one layer of grated cheese. Melt under broiler, if desired. Add layer of sour cream, then more cheese, chives, olives, and taco sauce. Serve either warm or cold with tortilla chips.
