SERIOUSLY STUFFED MUSHROOMS 
1 pkg. white mushrooms
1 pkg. mild or hot sausage
1 pkg. cream cheese

Clean mushrooms and cut off stems. Cook sausage until browned. Add cream cheese and sausage into mixing bowl. Stuff mushrooms.

Place in oven at 425°F cook for 15-20 minutes.

Delicious! I made these to get rid of a pint of portobello mushrooms I had sitting around and added a few other things I needed to use up... some day-old bread crumbs I toasted in butter along with some finely chopped green onions and minced garlic, then tossed it all into the sausage/cream cheese mixture. So yummy - a huge hit and really easy. I would even think about adding a jalapeno next time. Thanks so much!

I actually use 2 containers of mushrooms. Then I fry both mild and hot sausage together and mix with the cream cheese. I add garlic and red pepper to the sausage as its frying. I been doing it like this for years, and they are always a hit
