SWEET POTATO COBBLER 
5 med. sweet potatoes
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. nutmeg

Mix. 1 sm. can evaporated milk Your favorite crust

Slice potatoes in 1/4 inch slices. Cover with water in saucepan; cook just till tender. Set aside. Make crust and slice into strips. Layer in bottom of greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees till lightly brown - about 10 minutes. Put potatoes and sugar mixture in casserole and pour water from saucepan over all. Should be very juicy. Then another layer of crust. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Pull apart strips of crust and pour evaporated milk into casserole. Bake for another 10 to 15 minutes till brown.
