FOOLPROOF PEACH COBBLER 
1 stick butter
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. milk
1 tsp. baking powder
Dash of vanilla
1 lg. can peaches, sliced

Melt butter in deep pan in oven, mix flour, milk, sugar and baking powder. Pour batter in middle of melted butter; pour canned peaches in middle of batter. Bake at 350 degrees until batter at bottom rises up and makes crust on top; fruit goes to bottom; crust will turn golden brown.

In the 1950's this is the way every mom & G-mom in the neighborhood did cobblers. Everything Else is Pie! This is "Cobbled" together! Y-u-M!
