FRESH PEACH COBBLER 
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar, divided
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 cup milk
3 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
1 tsp. ground cinnamon

SERVE WITH:

1/2 cup heavy cream, whipped into peaks OR
your favorite vanilla ice cream

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Melt butter in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Sift together flour, 1 cup sugar, salt and baking powder. Blend in milk. Pour mixture into baking dish.

Toss peaches with remaining 1 cup sugar mixed with cinnamon, then spread on top of the crust mixture.

Bake at 350°F until the crust rises and turns golden, about 1 hour.

Serve warm with whipped topping or vanilla ice cream.
