HOT FIVE BEAN SALAD 
8 slices bacon
1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
1 (16 oz.) can green beans
1 (16 oz.) can lima beans
1 (16 oz.) can cut wax beans
1 (16 oz.) can garbanzo beans
2/3 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. salt and pepper
3/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. water

Cook 8 slices bacon until crisp; drain. Keep 1/4 cup drippings. Crumble bacon. Combine sugar, salt, pepper, cornstarch with drippings. Stir in water and vinegar. Bring to a slow boil, stirring constantly. Add drained beans. Simmer covered 15-20 minutes. Pour into serving dish. Top with crushed bacon.
