NIEMAN MARCUS COOKIES 
2 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
5 c. oatmeal
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
3 c. chopped nuts
1 (8 oz.) grated Hershey candy bar
4 c. flour
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
24 oz. Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate chips

Measure and blend oatmeal in blender to a fine powder.

Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix together with flour, blended oatmeal, salt, baking powder and soda. Add chocolate chips, grated candy and nuts. Refrigerate for 1/2 hour. Roll into balls and place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Bake for 6 minutes at 375 degrees. Makes 112 cookies. The recipe can be halved.
