CHOCOLATE CHIP - PECAN PIE 
3/4 c. butter, melted
1 c. sugar
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. light corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. chocolate bits
9 inch pie crust

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream butter and sugar. Stir in next 5 ingredients. Sprinkle pecans and chocolate bits over bottom of pie crust. Pour filling over nuts and bits. Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until knife comes out clean. Cool for 30 minutes.
