AUTHENTIC ITALIAN PIZZA 
Crust:

1 pkg. dry yeast
1 1/4 c. warm water
2 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
4 tsp. olive oil
4 c. all-purpose flour

Dissolve yeast in water. Add rest of crust ingredients. Knead. Let rise 1-2 hours and divide in two. Spread dough on two pizza pans. A bread machine may be used for kneading.

Sauce:

1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (8 oz.) can tomato paste
1/8 to 1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. rosemary
1/4 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. caraway seeds

Topping:

Mozzarella cheese, grated
any toppings you like

Mix sauce ingredients. Spread small amount of sauce on dough. Press a little mozzarella cheese into sauce. Continue with your choice of toppings. Bake at 375°F for 25 minutes.

Makes 2 pizzas.
