MARGIE'S MEATLOAF 
2-3 lb. ground beef (80% works best)
1 small onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 egg
1 cup quick-cooking oats
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. prepared mustard
1/2 to 3/4 cup ketchup
1/8 to 1/4 cup light brown sugar
3 to 4 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Form into a rectangle loaf on a 9x11-inch baking sheet.

Bake at 375°F for 1 hour for well done or 45 minutes for medium well done.

TOPPING:

1 tsp. mustard
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 cup ketchup (Hunts)
1/8 cup light brown sugar
4 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Combine topping in small bowl. Spread topping over the meatloaf during last 20 minutes of cooking.

Serves 6 to 8.
