OYSTER STEW 
1 gallon whole milk
1-2 pt. oysters
1/2 stick butter
Salt and pepper

Heat milk (do not boil) in large kettle. Heat oysters in saucepan until edges curl on medium heat. Combine oysters and milk. Add butter, salt, and pepper to taste. Simmer to enhance flavor. Serve with oyster crackers.
