"MASHED POTATOES AHEAD" 
8 to 10 lg. potatoes, cooked & mashed
1 stick butter
1 c. canned milk
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 tbsp. (or more) chopped onion
1/4 tsp. garlic salt

Add all ingredients to warm potatoes as you whip them. Place in greased casserole dish. Top with butter pats and refrigerate. The following day as need, heat at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes, uncovered.
