CARAMEL DUMPLINGS 
SAUCE:

3 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. brown sugar
Butter, size of an egg
1 tsp. vanilla

BATTER:

1/2 c. brown sugar
Butter, size of an egg
1 c. flour
1/2 c. milk
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. raisins

Bring sauce to boil and pour into 8"x12" cake pan. Drop batter by spoonfuls into sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
