PECAN COCONUT DIAMONDS 
1/2 c. butter (soft)
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. and 2 tbsp. flour
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 2/3 c. flaked coconut
1 c. coarsely chopped pecans
Dash of salt
Confectioners' sugar

Beat butter and granulated sugar in large bowl at medium until light and fluffy. Mix in 1 cup flour until blended. Press into greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.

Beat eggs, brown sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, baking powder, salt, and vanilla in large bowl until well mixed. Stir in coconut and pecans. Spread mixture over hot baked crust. Bake 25 minutes. Cool. Cut in diamond shapes and sprinkle with confectioners' sugar. 3 dozen.
