This recipe is from the 1960s. My Mother made these every Christmas. They are delicious! 2 large packages butterscotch morsels 3 cans chow mein noodles 2 jars salted, dry roasted peanuts Melt butterscotch morsels over low heat in heavy Dutch oven or in a double boiler until completely melted. Stir constantly so it does not scorch. Quickly add peanuts and chow mein noodles until completely mixed in. Drop onto wax paper by tablespoon into clusters. Let cool 45 minutes then flip over to dry the bottom. After completely dry store in air tight containers. Submitted by: LJR |
